How to make it all so much better

Dear Ones,

Just now.

Notice: are you moving or are you still?
Are they clearly differentiated? 
Are you sitting still but your mind is racing?
Are you moving but without awareness?

When you move today
- driving, walking, talking, working -
be more completely absorbed in what you're doing.
Every moment makes change.
In your movement, be changed.

When your movement is done
Be still.
A moment. A count of 5. A count of 50.
Time for a blessing.
A benediction.
Punctuation between movements. 

Movement and stillness will get sweeter, clearer.
The day will become efficient and spacious.
Do much. Pause often. Change the world.

Come practice to get strong and familiar with moving and stillness

on you,

home in you,

that go with you

holy places
but will not
let you rest,

hear your life
with wholeness
or feel the grace
that fashioned you.
