I am hungry.I am constantly seeking, constantly inspired by what we are learning about ourselves and our world. I bring all of it to class with me. You feel this when I teach you. It is what we all connect to.
Firstly, have you heard of it? There is a new documentary series, 'TRANSCENDENCE' free right now from Food Matters TV that will not be free after November 11. It features leading doctors, scientists, business people, and laypeople explaining the relationship between our lives and our thoughts, our thoughts and our food, our food and our health, our health and our fears, our fears and our beliefs. I have seen many such films, but few as well integrated as this. I had to share this with you because we need to keep learning how we function, how we heal, who we can be - it all adds to who We are collectively.
The link to the first episode is here.
The link to the second is here.
There will be more episodes released in the coming days. Head to the websitefor more*.
These documentaries interest me because they explore how what I teach interacts with the reality of our health care system, our environment, our food choices, and their consequences. These are experts speaking to the direct need for a systemic change in the way we assume control over our bodies, our breath, and our wellbeing. We have more power than we realize.
Secondly, what I do know for certain is that for such changes to stick, for our habits to change, we do best with personal contact, advice, guidance, accountability - in other words, help.Familiar both with the techniques they discuss, as well as my own healing journey using them, my deep desire is to help you craft practices that fit your life precisely. Success lies in a personal, tailored approach that directly addresses your schedule, habits, lifestyle, and circumstances.
If in-studio classes work for you, stay with it, by all means! I'm so happy to see you in classes. If you already have a group or a guide that serves you, fantastic! This email is simply to share a resource I've found to be important and insightful and then to make myself available to you with all the tools, skills, experience, and training I can to design a practice that can serve you for decades to come.
Most importantly: Watch. Learn. Take action.
I'm here to bring it to your life.
Real. Life. Change.

*p.s. You may disagree with the contents of the films. You may have a more refined understanding of how you choose to live that you have honed over years. That's so important, keep going! There are many approaches. So many choices. I'm not saying this one is Right. I am saying we have to keep listening and this is worth hearing and considering and adding to what we know.
