SPRING 1 :: ground of being

That which hold us through the storms and the suns of the year ahead.

Svadhistana is the “home of the Self.” This is the personal self, the material self of this lifetime. This is where and how we come home to our intimate experience of our lives. Ground of Being refers to the place we are from, within ourselves. It is a place of knowing, the home of our answers and our urges.

Svadhistana is the low abdomen, the sacral plate. It is the energy of fluidity, adaptability. It is our changeable nature. This sequence is a chance to bring balance and structure to our inner mobility so we can be creative without being swept away by emotions.

Expect a full-body practice of the kriya to balance the vayus - the creative currents that move through our bodies. They compose and decompose our energies so we are organized for the emergence of Spring2.

Instruction + accountability

  • Each day, while the sequence is the same, the teaching is different based on where we are in the sequence. Expect a curated, seasonal 40 DAY sequence

  • 3 weekly live classes with Martha, on non-live days you replay the recorded previous day. In this way you begin to build your own ability to show up for yourself.

  • This is a community of committed practitioners, some of whom have gathered online for over 5 years. This is a ritual of practice that holds lives and families and work in place like good soil.

  • Once the 40 days are complete you still have unlimited access to class replays.

Monday Membership

allows access to live Monday Zoom classes and replays to Monday classes 8-9am EST. It’s a chance to stay up with the live seasonal teachings of the sequence without the full commitment to every class.

Practicing with Martha changed me. So many things felt impossible. By showing up for this community and practice, I learned to show up for myself.
